The Oldenburg Cabaret Days start today. From January 10 to March 6, 2025, eight cabaret artists will entertain the audience under the motto “Laughed at!”
For 30 years, the new year in Oldenburg has been ushered in with smiles and plenty of humor – because that's how long the cabaret days, organized by the Kulturetage, have been around. This is where the greats of the cabaret scene and promising newcomers meet to fill the stages with their wit and charm at the Unikum or the Kulturetage. It is a format that has become an integral part of the city and has enriched the cultural landscape for decades.
This anniversary and this connection are something special for BÜFA: the family-owned company has been sponsoring the cabaret days for 25 years and is celebrating the silver anniversary of a unique connection between culture and chemistry. The historical place where cabaret humorously takes aim at socio-political topics has great significance for us. It was here in the building of today's Kulturetage that the BÜFA company history began over 140 years ago – with a small grocery store selling Marseille soap and oils.
