Handball brings people together – regardless of gender, origin, or social background. That's precisely why BÜFA is proud to continue its sponsorship of the VfL Oldenburg women's first division handball team in the 2025/2026 season.
VfL stands not only for top performance on the field, but also for values that are lived out in everyday life. With the “Power through Diversity” campaign, the players, together with partners and fans, are sending a strong signal for equal opportunities in sport. The aim is to create equal conditions for people of different origins, cultures, and social backgrounds – both on and off the field.
There is a particular focus on equal play: equal opportunities for everyone to practice their sport professionally – from fair salary structures and equal training conditions and medical care to balanced media coverage. BÜFA supports these values – and stands for an Oldenburg where sport, education, and culture bring people together.
At the sponsors' evening in the Wechloy sports hall on August 11, 2025, the anticipation for the new season was palpable. Managing Director Andreas Lampe looked back on the successes of the last season, got the team in the mood for the coming season together with the coaching team, and introduced the new team. The first division team will kick off the new season with a home game against BSV Sachsen Zwickau on August 30, 2025, in the Große EWE Arena. We wish the team every success!
