Christmas is just around the corner. And many people are unable to spend peaceful, happy holidays with their families. Poverty, war, misery and hardship prevail in many parts of the world. This is why BÜFA also wants to support international aid organizations during these days. Throughout the year, the BÜFA Group focuses primarily on regional projects, initiatives and events around the company's sites.
In 2023, for example, the Oldenburg-based chemical company was once again involved in the Kulturetage and the JAPZ Festival in Oldenburg city center. BÜFA is also involved in projects at the University of Oldenburg, Klasse 2000 and the AHOI_MINT Cluster Nordwest, and has supported community festivals, the Oldenburg animal shelter and ImmerBunt. In addition to many running events in the vicinity of our locations, the focus was also on the partnerships with VfB Oldenburg, the Oldenburg state tournament and the EWE Baskets.
This year's Christmas donation will now benefit two globally active organizations: the children's aid organization terre des hommes, which supports children in need on all continents with numerous projects, and the global network Doctors Without Borders, which often provides people with vital aid, especially in crisis and war zones. With 5,000 euros each, the BÜFA Group is supporting the valuable work of both organizations, which can alleviate suffering and give a little hope and confidence. A big thank you to all those who are so outstandingly committed to these two organizations and also to all the other social and charitable helpers, whether in Oldenburg or elsewhere, who do good every day in many other associations, initiatives, institutions and organizations and are an indispensable pillar of our society.
