Your training in Oldenburg, Rastede, or Hude will last three years. You can expect to perform the following tasks:

• You will receive goods, inspect them, and store them appropriately
• You will take samples of raw materials as part of the incoming inspection process
• You will prepare accompanying documents (such as delivery notes) and plan delivery routes in the shipping office
• As a warehouse logistics specialist, you will also need a forklift license, which you will obtain at the beginning of your training

Training at BÜFA is very varied. You will spend a few months in each of the different departments. These include the domestic and export shipping departments, goods receiving, and various warehouses.

1st year of training

Your home department will be at a BÜFA subsidiary. You will be introduced to all logistics processes step by step. You can expect many exciting impressions and experiences!

Vocational school classes take place at BBS Wechloy. In the first year of training, you will attend school two days a week. In the second and third years of training, you will only attend school once a week. You can also complete an additional qualification at the school to become a businessperson (m/f/d) for international business activities. You can find more information on the BBS Wechloy website.

Second year of training

Handling different goods and warehouse storage systems is a skill that must be learned! To this end, you will be transferred to other locations within our company during your training. You will also gain insight into related processes, such as production.

Third year of training

Now you are back in your home department. We will give you enough time and support to prepare for your exams to become a warehouse logistics specialist.

The training program requires at least a secondary school diploma. You should also have the following soft skills:

• Spatial awareness
• High perception and processing speed
• Goal-oriented approach
• Reaction speed and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn
• Ability to plan and organize

Those who complete their final exam with a grade of 2.5 or higher usually receive a contract for at least 12 months after completing their training. However, all trainees can apply for internal job vacancies even before this.
