Adjacent to the current BÜFA Chemicals site in Hude, the BÜFA Group has purchased an additional expansion area. Around 14,000 square meters, which previously belonged to the municipalities of Hatten and Hude, now offer the opportunity to expand the distribution site once again.
"With this acquisition, we are aligning BÜFA Chemicals with the market requirements of the future and strengthening the site in the long term," reports Felix Thalmann, Chairman and CEO of the BÜFA Group. It is also a clear commitment to the region and to the local employees, Thalmann continues.
One of the plans is to use the expansion areas as additional storage space for the automated high-bay warehouse.
From its base in Hude, BÜFA Chemikalien supplies various industries throughout Germany with basic specialties. Warehouse capacities have already been expanded for this purpose in the past. At the same time, the Chemicals Business Unit also intends to strengthen its position in the field of sustainable specialty chemicals and invest further in this area.
